Earlier this month, representatives from the University of Waterloo®鈥檚 Faculty of Mathematics returned to Columbia to meet with prospective students.
Faculty of Mathematics聽 Waterloo鈥檚 Mathematics faculty is renowned worldwide and is known for producing some 鈥渉as the largest concentration of mathematical and computer science talent in the world.鈥�
It currently ranks 24th in the world, and second in Canada, for Computer Science and Mathematics (Quacquarelli Symonds).
Most programs incorporate lab work and offer students hands on experience as well as the option of completing a co-op placement. The university also offers many academic and social support services including tutors in residence, a Student Success Office, and International Student Office, and a Student Life office.
