A number of 杏吧原创鈥檚 top academic achievers were recognized this week for their exceptional performance in two elite Canadian math contests last semester.
Students who wrote the聽Canadian Senior Math Contest听蹿谤辞尘 the University of Waterloo, and the聽Canadian Open Math Challenge听蹿谤辞尘 Sun Life Financial in partnership with University of Toronto, and who scored in the top 25% of all participants were presented with a certificate of distinction.
Mr. Rambarran, Principal,Mr. Putt, Head of Senior School,聽Ms. Markuc, Head of Mathematics, and聽Mr. Luymes, Math Teacher, were on hand to congratulate the top achieving students. They were also thrilled to learn that two Columbia students 鈥撀�Song, Jie, and Meng, Fanxing聽– scored above average of all competitors and were awarded with special medals and plaques. The school also received a plaque for having one of the highest scoring students in the competition.
