The border between Canada and USA will remain closed to non-essential travel until at least November 21, 2020.
On October 12, the US reached 8 million total confirmed cases of Covid-19 and the numbers continue to increase.
On October 15, according to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the US-Canada borders will remain closed until the coronavirus gets under control in the US. It鈥檚 most likely the border closure agreement will be extended after it expires next week on October 21.

The coronavirus cases have seen a spike after a COVID-19 outbreak at a spin studio downtown Hamilton, which is connected to at least 72 cases in the city as of October 16. Due to this incident, Public Health is reconsidering the gym guidelines and safety measures in the province.
