TheÌýobjective of thisÌýnew policyÌýis to keepÌýALLÌýÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ STUDENTSÌýin aÌý²õ²¹´Ú±ðÌý²ú³Ü²ú²ú±ô±ð.ÌýÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ maintains the highest safety protocols forÌýallÌýin-personÌýactivitiesÌýat schoolÌýand in residences,ÌýwhichÌýincludesÌýclasses,ÌýmealsÌýtimes, trips, sports, clubs, eventsÌýandÌýotherÌýactivities.Ìý ToÌýcontinue toÌýmaintain our safe bubble,Ìýstudents will need to be vaccinatedÌýbefore moving into our residences.Ìý

VaccineÌýAvailable toÌýAllÌýÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ÌýStudentsÌýÌý

ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ has been officiallyÌýauthorizedÌýby Hamilton Public Health to administer COVID vaccine to all students (12+), staff and theirÌýimmediateÌýfamilies,Ìýfree ofÌýcharge.Ìý Because ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ is currently administering Pfizer for our students, the vaccines that we are recognizing as eligible first doses are Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca. If the first dose is not any of the three vaccines, the student may need to restart the vaccination process.ÌýÌý Students will be able to receive their first or second dose during quarantine at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´.ÌýÌý In order for students to be vaccinatedÌýduring quarantine, parents must submitÌýaÌýCOVID-19 VaccinationÌýConsentÌý(link to PDF)Ìýbefore students arrive in Residence for quarantine.Ìý

ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Vaccination Policy for ResidenceÌýExplainedÌýÌý

To be allowed to stay at one of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s residences, all students arriving to residence must either:Ìý
  • Have been fully vaccinatedÌýwithÌýa Health Canada or WHO approved vaccine prior to move-in or;Ìý
  • Have received their first dose of a Health Canada or WHO approved vaccine prior to move-inÌýANDÌýconsent to receiving their second dose/revaccination or;Ìý
  • Complete the vaccination consent form prior to arrivalÌýÌý
