The听objective of this听new policy听is to keep听ALL听杏吧原创 STUDENTS听in a听蝉补蹿别听产耻产产濒别.听杏吧原创 maintains the highest safety protocols for听all听in-person听activities听at school听and in residences,听which听includes听classes,听meals听times, trips, sports, clubs, events听and听other听activities.听
To听continue to听maintain our safe bubble,听students will need to be vaccinated听before moving into our residences.听
Vaccine听Available to听All听杏吧原创听Students听听
杏吧原创 has been officially听authorized听by Hamilton Public Health to administer COVID vaccine to all students (12+), staff and their听immediate听families,听free of听charge.听 Because 杏吧原创 is currently administering Pfizer for our students, the vaccines that we are recognizing as eligible first doses are Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca. If the first dose is not any of the three vaccines, the student may need to restart the vaccination process.听听 Students will be able to receive their first or second dose during quarantine at 杏吧原创.听听 In order for students to be vaccinated听during quarantine, parents must submit听a听COVID-19 Vaccination听Consent听(link to PDF)听before students arrive in Residence for quarantine.听杏吧原创 Vaccination Policy for Residence听Explained听听
To be allowed to stay at one of 杏吧原创鈥檚 residences, all students arriving to residence must either:听- Have been fully vaccinated听with听a Health Canada or WHO approved vaccine prior to move-in or;听
- Have received their first dose of a Health Canada or WHO approved vaccine prior to move-in听AND听consent to receiving their second dose/revaccination or;听
- Complete the vaccination consent form prior to arrival听听
