Lots of Clubs and Activities Await Students

Meaningful extracurricular activities will be offered toÌýÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ studentsÌýthisÌýfall. Teacher-led clubs will start running onÌýAugust 25. Students, based on their interests,Ìýwill take part in definingÌýwhich activities will be running.ÌýDuring their first week of classes, all students will selectÌýtheirÌýpreferredÌýactivities.ÌýOn the second week,ÌýClub Sign-up will take place.Ìý At ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ we believe in experiences that go beyond the classroom and that is why the Total Care Education team wants to hear from students and offer Clubs and extracurricular programming that is relevant to them.ÌýÌý In-personÌýteacher-led afternoon clubs will include:Ìý

By being involvedÌýinÌýthe planning or participationÌýof extracurricular activities,ÌýstudentsÌýwillÌýbuild a stronger resume in theirÌýuniversity application, especially for competitive programsÌýthat require supplementary application forms.Ìý TheÌýÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ÌýStudentÌýLeadership DevelopmentÌý(SLD)ÌýteamÌýwill continue to offer opportunities for students to be part of special groups where they can learn and practice new skills and enrich their academic experience.ÌýSome of the opportunities at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ include:Ìý

ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ offersÌýplenty of drop-in and organized events,ÌýbothÌýin school andÌýinÌýresidences,Ìýto ensure thatÌýstudents are making connections with their peers, having fun, developingÌýleadership,Ìýand learning new skills.ÌýActivities and events runÌýonÌýboth weekdays as well as weekends.ÌýÌý A monthly calendarÌýincluding Residence, Community Service, Drop-in and other events and activitiesÌýwill be available before theÌýstartÌýof each month, starting in September.Ìý
