Our Circle of CareÌýTeam meets weekly to reviewÌýeach and everyÌýstudent whoÌý¾±²õÌýin needÌý´Ç´ÚÌýsupport.ÌýThe team discusses students’ Academic, Social, Emotional and Physical needs to offer individualized programmingÌýandÌýset them up for success.Ìý Success at school takes more than just brain power. Research shows that a child’s complete needs are Academic, Social, Emotional and Physical (ASEP).ÌýÌý ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ is the only institution in Canada providing comprehensive care for the unique ASEP needs of international students in a one-school,Ìýone-system centralized manner.ÌýÌý Meeting the ASEP needs of international students is the cornerstone of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s Total Care Education System®.Ìý

A Centralized Student Information System for Both School and Residence to Support StudentsÌý

The Total Care Student Tracker records observations from teachers, guidance counsellors, liaison staff, residence house parents and other members of the Total Care team who interact with each studentÌýdaily.Ìý It tracks details of student behaviors that are key to their success in the classroom,ÌýandÌýtheir health and happiness in residence.ÌýÌý Parents and students have access to this timely information at all times viaÌýezReportÌýCard.Ìý

Circle of Care individualizesÌýCaring &ÌýSupportÌý

Based on the observations in the Student Tracker, the Circle of Care team meets weekly on Thursday to discuss studentsÌýwhoÌýrequire extra support,ÌýandÌýtoÌýrecommend individualized programming to support their success.Ìý For each student, the committee willÌýmonitor andÌýoffer individualized plans that could include:Ìý

  • Leadership opportunitiesÌý
  • Community Service involvementÌý
  • Wellness CounsellingÌý
  • Study Plan adjustmentÌý
